Hi {!firstname}, Welcome back to the 5-part ecourse, Step-by-Step Fire Sale Marketing. I hope you've learned something you can use to make your fire sale as successful as it can be. So far we've talked about using your lists to create a buzz about your sale. Today I want to talk about using other people's lists. You've probably heard about joint ventures. That's when two or more marketers get together to promote each other's products. Here's how it works. Say you are holding a fire sale featuring your older PLR products, and most of them are in the Internet marketing niche. You would find a JV partner whose target market is Internet marketers, but who doesn't sell PLR. Maybe she has a blog or a membership site. In exchange for promoting your fire sale to her list, you offer higher than normal affiliate commissions, or perhaps you agree to promote her next sale to your list. The important thing is that each partner benefits from the transaction. You benefit in more ways than one, however. Not only will your fire sale have more traffic (and more profit) but you'll also be introduced to a whole new market – people you may never have had the chance to “meet.” Because your introduction comes by way of someone they already know and do business with, it carries more weight than does a random meeting via search engine or advertisement. You can see that having a list, or at least having access to a list, is critical to the success of your fire sale. In the next lesson, though, we're going to talk about advertising your sale. Don't worry, it won't cost you a thing! Until next time, [SIGNATURE AND LINK] P.S. Are you ready to start planning your fire sale in earnest? Make sure you pick up a copy of Fire Sale Magician.
